Gradient - WHITE Parallel Cable | Multi Point Splitter 2,3,4+ way

Gradient - WHITE Parallel Cable | Multi Point Splitter 2,3,4+ way

Multi Point Parallel Splitter Cable for Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip
Compatibility
There are 5 versions of Philips Hue LightStrip, many with differing connectors.  There are 3 revisions of Lightstrip Plus, there is Gradient Lightstrip and also a Solo Lightstrip.  Most versions have 2 different sized connectors, the Control Box socket and the LightStrip Extension connector, making 3 different cable combinations for each of the 5 versions.  That’s 15 different cables, plus splitters.

As all these cables are made to order, please ensure this cable is compatible with your LightStrip and connects between your intended sockets/connectors.

This is a custom, made to order Gradient Parallel Cable Kit for Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip that will allow to to run multiple Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip Extension LightStrip's in parallel from the same control box.  You can choose how many Extension LightStrips you want to connect.  The length to the first LightStrip.  And finally the length between each LightStrip after that.  The kit allows you to connect a 2m Starter LightStrip, and multiple 1m LightStrip Extensions.

There are multiple scenarios for which these can be used.  For example, you may want to light several shelves with the cable all on one side.  Or underneath steps on a staircase.

The gradient will be set by the longest leg of lightstrip.  The gradient will be mirrored on each leg of lightStrip.  Each Lightstrip will start at the same colour and run in parallel with one another.  If a Lightstrip is shorter, it will only show the equivalent portion of the gradient.  The diagram demonstrates how the Gradients will be displayed.

This will not connect to any cut edges of LightStrip.

All of our Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip Cables, Leads and Extensions are made with the proper connectors for the Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip system.
Dimensions
<   Choose the Length   >
All of these cables are made to order, to the exact length you need.  If the size you need is not in the options, just purchase a length that will accommodate the length you would like, then drop us a note with your exact specification.  Length is from plug tip to socket tip, excluding any external pins.

Whilst other Philips LightStrips are controlled by power for each colour, Gradient LightStrips are controlled by data.  Data doesn't travel as far as power, so cable lengths for Gradient LightStrips are much more limited.  Cables should not be combined for this reason.

These cables will work fine for most setups, but for some longer length lightstrips there the may be difficulty.  There isn't a 100% formula as to what will and work work for each setup, this is one of the reasons you can return these free of charge if they don't work for your particular Setup.
Fitting Instructions
Please turn off the lightstrip at the wall before plugging these cables in.  This is because the Control Box calibrates to new cables and Extension LightStrips when powered on so it knows how far to spread the gradient.

Although the cable will plug into some connectors either way up, they will only work one way.  If it doesn't work, turn it off at the wall and plug it in the other way up.  It shouldn't damage the lightstrip if you plug it the wrong way up, as long as its not powered on for hours.

As Phillips didn't design these lightstrips with cables in mind, there is nothing for cables or lightstrips to clip and lock onto.  LightStrips only don't come loose because they are stuck in place.  In some situations you may need to secure the connections in place with insulation tape or heatshrink.
